Because Every Child Deserves a Village
Kinship is more than a word; it’s a way of being.
Kin is “you” when you step forward with love, patience, and an open heart for a child in need.
Kin is “me” when I choose to support, uplift, and stand beside a child and their family.
And kin is “we” through the shared commitment that turns care into community.
At ASCI, we believe every child thrives when their village stands strong. Children don’t grow in isolation; they grow when surrounded by people who choose compassion, stability, and connection.
That’s why we don’t believe in the phrase “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.” Circumstances or past hardships do not define children. They are shaped by the care they receive, the encouragement they’re given, and the people who believe in their potential.
To our caregivers, families, and partners, thank you for being the “we” in kinship care. Your love creates belonging. Your support builds futures. Together, we help children not just survive, but truly thrive.
