CARES Department

The Clinical and Responsive Engagement Services (CARES) Department provides compassionate, person-centered therapeutic support to individuals and families experiencing periods of crisis or heightened need. Through rapid therapeutic engagement, CARES responds quickly to help stabilize situations, address immediate concerns, and reduce emotional distress. The department offers coordinated care that thoughtfully bridges individuals and families to the most appropriate resources and services, ensuring support does not end at the point of crisis.

Through responsive interventions, targeted curriculum, ongoing follow-up, and seamless collaboration with internal teams and community partners, CARES promotes continuity of care and reduces the likelihood of re-escalation, mental health crisis, and ongoing instability. CARES also works closely with families and community-based providers to strengthen natural support systems, promote understanding, and encourage long-term well-being.

Guided by trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices, CARES empowers individuals and families to regain a sense of safety, control, and confidence as they move toward permanency and stability.
