Rapper Ludacris and His Daughter Produce Animated Netflix Series for Young Black Girls
Chris “Ludacris” Bridges is creating a new animated series called Karma’s World motivated by his oldest daughter Karma Bridges. Karma’s World will be released on Netflix in November 2021. This story follows the life of 10-year-old Karma Grant, an aspiring musical artist, rapper and songwriter who believes her music will change the world!
Each episode will talk about the issues young children face, such as friendship, discrimination, emotions and much more.
Ludacris’ hope for the series is that young children and girls will be empowered to be their best selves no matter the circumstance.
“I’ve had a lot of accomplishments in my life, but everything that I’ve experienced seems to have led up to this point to where I can leave a legacy for all my daughters,” Chris shares. “Karma’s World is one of those legacies. I hope this series will show kids that there are many ways to overcome difficult situations. This show is going to move hip-hop culture forward and show young girls that they have the power to change the world. This project has been a long time in the making, and I can’t wait to bring Karma’s World to the entire world.”
